Lavender Chiffon
A garden favorite, Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) is a cold-hardy hibiscus that delivers a stunning display of large, trumpet-shaped blooms from midsummer to fall. This perennial deciduous shrub brings bold color to borders, hedges, and foundation plantings. Flowers appear in shades of pink, lavender, white, or blue, often with striking red or dark centers, and attract pollinators like butterflies and hummingbirds. Drought-tolerant once established and adaptable to a variety of soil types, it thrives in full sun to partial shade. Easy to grow and low-maintenance, it’s a reliable choice for adding late-season interest to any landscape. If uncared for they can become invasive. To prevent this, deadhead (remove) flowers when they first start to wilt.
